This is a womens outfit that was issued to athletes from The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland delegation to be worn for the opening ceremony parade of nations during the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
It includes a blazer, turtle neck sweater, pants and hat.
The button up blazer is white with a navy hooded lining that zips up. There are front flap pockets as well as a pocket with zipper on the inside, the chest and left arm.
It features a union jack flag and round Great Britain 2010 crest. There is a large navy blue Team GB logo with a lion head and the olympic rings on the back. The lining is sewn into the jacket but the hood is removable.
The outer jacket material is
68% wool & 32% viscose
The lining is 100% cotton
and the sleeve lining is 55% polyester & 45% vicose
The women wore a 100% merino wool turtle neck sweater under the jacket. If you are not familiar with these tops, they are somewhat stretchy and are much thinner than a typical sweater. As you can see by the photo, the material is thin and somewhat see-through. The turtleneck is an off white cream colour with red and blue trim accents and a union jack flag pattern on the right flank.
Included is a Kangol Modelain Beret and a pair of pin striped pants.
The beret is red and was designed in Britain. It is and made from 100% pure new wool.
The pants are black with grey pinstripes and are 100% polyester
The jacket and pants are both size UK 14 Long. The sweater is a size UK 12 and the beret is one size fits all.
