- Vintage framed art print of a painting by Unknown
- I don’t know much about this piece other than the artwork appears to have been used for an album cover titled ‘Kiamichi Mountain Favorites’ Gospel Songs by Lowell Mason.
- Going through a bunch of pictures that were collected mainly for their frames, a reverse image search shows this artwork was used for an album cover from 1961. Which came first? Well the signature in the corner is shown on both so I assume Mr Lowell licensed the image or that it was painted so long ago that it was no longer covered under copyright.
- This piece is not the original painting. It appears to be a print on heavy card or board that had some sort of gel medium applied to look like brush strokes as well as to protect the picture. Both the print and frame are vintage however, as they show signs of wear and age like nicotine, dust, and years of household fallout. I will leave the cleaning to the new owner as I do not want to damage anything.
