As an actress, Knowles was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture and shared a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for Dreamgirls. Other notable acting roles include Austin Powers in Goldmember and Cadillac Records.
Beyonce supports a large number of charitable organizations including Oxfam, 46664, The Lunchbox Fund and Clothes Off Our Back. Together with Kelly Rowland, she founded the Survivor Foundation, which provides assistance, education and support to survivors of social, economic and catastrophic hardships.
