Fast Facts : Ashley Tyler Ciminella was born in in Granada Hills, California on April 19, 1968 and grew up in Kentucky. She majored in French, studying for one semester in France and earning a Bachelors Dregree from the University of Kentucky. Her acting career began with several small television roles including a recurring role in the series Sisters. Her film debut was in the movie Kuffs which led to her break out role in the film Ruby in Paradise. Other notable films in which Judd has had lead roles include Heat, Kiss The Girls, Norma Jean & Marilyn which she recieve both an Emmy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress and DeLovey, which she was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
Judd is an active supporter of a large number of charities including Malaria No More and Jeans for Genes. She is an highly involved with Five & Alive and is an Ambassador for it’s sister initiative YouthAIDS.
